PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN SCRIPTZ (July 6, 2009)
Hey Sis,
Greetings from LYLAS 4 Life Ministries, “A modern day ministry, delivering the word of God through technology to unite, empower, and uplift sistahs in Christ.” In addition to your weekly TextScriptz, I send you God’s love, peace, and blessings. May we continue to walk with God, even in our uncertainty, trusting that He is with us every step of the way.
Today I take a journey into the unknown, not lost in space, but traveling in faith. I go to new grounds where many others have walked before me, yet I voyage alone. This is my faith walk for which I march in confidence that my Lord has destined this path before I was even born. He who is sending me has prepared me for any and all challenges that shall come my way. He who is sending me has given me everything I need to be victorious on this day and the days ahead of me. He who is sending me has a purpose for me as I adventure into a new realm. I trust He who is sending me, so I have left what is familiar and I am willingly headed to the new land for which He has directed me to go.
Friday was a bittersweet day for me as I rode off into the sunset after clocking out at the agency where I have spent the last 8 years of my life working. It was a place where I grew up professionally, so to speak. During that time I have had the opportunity to follow, lead, learn, laugh, love and even cry. I have met many people who have touched my life forever and in turn I have touched many lives. It was a place that became a home away from home, a place where I gained friends who have become family. It is a place I will never forget, but a place I had to leave in faith.
On this day, God has given me a new assignment. Although, I work a job, my jobs are really assignments from God in my eyes. Therefore, it is God who I truly work for. Where I am going is a place I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be working at. However, the Lord has spoke and confirmed that this is where He has destined me to be for however long He sees fit. My flesh submitted to his will and so I eagerly await all the experiences I will gain on this new assignment. I look forward to the lives I will touch and those lives that will touch me. I am ready for the unknown because I believe God and I trust him with all of my heart even when I don’t understand what He is doing.
Sistah, I know that I am not alone in a transitional stage during this time and season. So I come to encourage us both to go and don’t look back. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11). I planned to stay at my old agency a little while longer, but God had different plans in mind. The reality is His plans are better than mine on
any given day, so I’m going with him all the way no looking back!
Loving You Like Sistah (LYLAS),

P.S.
GOT GOD? If you do not know God on a personal level this prayer can start your walk with him today…….
God, I am a sinner and I know I do not deserve your grace or mercy. Still, I trust you and I believe that you sent your son to earth and that he died and rose again for my sins. I thank you Lord for the personal gift of salvation. Amen.
