Love love LOVE

Hey Love,

Greetings from LYLAS 4 Life Ministries, “A modern day ministry, delivering the word of God through technology to unite, empower, and uplift sistahs in Christ.” In addition to your weekly TextScriptz, I send you God’s love, peace, and blessings.
The other day I woke up with a song on my heart by Musiq Soulchild. It’s a beautiful song in which he is serenading LOVE. While cleaning my house I listened to that song at least 50 times. As I swept and mopped my floors I sang along with Musiq Soulchild reflecting on love. I thought about the love that I have known, the love that I have lost, the love that I have sought, and the love that is yet to come. Then I was reminded of the greatest love of all; the love that our Father God has for you and me.

In the song, Musiq Soulchild says “At first you didn’t mean that much to me, but now I know you’re all I need. The world looks so brand new now that I’ve found love.” So many, including myself have wasted moments in time seeking love in all the wrong places; confusing lust for love. As I sang this verse with Musiq Soulchild I had chills run through my body. I can truly say that the world looks brand new to me now that I have found, accepted, and appreciate the love that GOD has for me. His love has opened my mind and heart in ways that no human could have ever opened me up. I am made whole with God’s unfailing love.

As I repeated that song and cleaned my house, I felt refreshed spiritually. I kept thinking about God and how He is the essence of love.  “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8). I am so thankful that I now know love; I know God. His love has allowed me to love myself and others with the love of God. The world truly looks brand new to me and through all the ups and down I will still choose God first!
